Press: Mik Artistik interviewed by Shine Magazine

Mik was recently interviewed by Shine Magazine, a brand new publication in Leeds available online and offline that shares the stories of older people in Leeds. The idea is to help older people feel connected and offer space to contribute their stories.

The magazine is both online and offline. The printed edition goes to older people who don't have internet access. The interview focuses on Mik’s journey to becoming an artist and gaining confidence in his art form, as well as life as a performer in his sixties.
